The Rebel: 1ofNone was a piece commissioned by Matthew Baker, founder of streetwear fashion blog, Bakers Rebellion. Together, we designed these pants not only to pay homage hip-hop culture, it's energy, and a handful of artists that contribute to it, but to create a unique visual language that spoke to the experience of growing up in New York City.

A multi-step, mixed-media approach was taken in this particular design process.

Rudamentary graphite and ink drawings were converted into digital formats for refinement and then printed. These printed versions were then used as references for hand-carved block stencils that I manually printed onto the fabric of the pants, alongside some additional freehand design accents.
